Class action

In October 2004, Option consommateurs instituted a class action on behalf of every person who purchased polyester polyol in Québec and/or one or more products manufactured with polyester polyol and who paid an inflated price due to an agreement to fix the prices of polyester polyol. Option consommateurs claimed that certain manufacturers of this product conspired to unduly restrict competition and unreasonably fix the price.

In May 2007, the Court approved a settlement agreement concluded by the parties.
