Érika Normand-Couture joined Belleau Lapointe in 2026. She brings over ten years of experience from a leading litigation boutique, where she led complex civil and commercial litigation.
Her practice spans a wide range of contentious matters, including class actions, contractual litigation, injunctions, defamation, as well as corporate, securities, and regulatory litigation. She has developed significant expertise in class actions, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants in high-profile cases.
Recognized for the quality of her legal analysis and her courtroom advocacy, Érika is valued for her ability to readily identify complex issues facing clients and to propose effective, tailored solutions.
A member of the Québec Bar since 2014, Érika is recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada: Ones to Watch in commercial and corporate litigation. In addition to her law degree, she holds a Master of Laws in Business Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Political Science.
Beyond her litigation practice, Érika is actively engaged in developing the next generation of lawyers. She is committed to mentoring junior lawyers and supporting their professional growth.
In her free time, Érika enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family.
