Professional career

Admitted to the Quebec Bar: 2018

Education: LLB, University of Montreal (2017) – Minor in political science, University of Montreal (2014)

After having completed his articling position and having held an associate position in the litigation group of a big law firm in Montreal, Jacquelin Charbonneau-Dufresne joined Belleau Lapointe in 2023. While his practice is mainly focused on class actions, Jacquelin also represents the firm’s clients in various civil and commercial litigation matters.

Jacquelin approaches litigation in a thoughtful and composed manner. His dependability and creativity allow him to anticipate each file’s challenges and adapt the chosen strategic angle accordingly.

Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2018, Jacquelin has pleaded before Quebec’s Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Quebec and the Court of Quebec.

Jacquelin has a passion for History, Political Science and Economics. He is also an avid backcountry skier, mountain biker and rock climber.
