Violette Leblanc is a lawyer and a partner. She has developed a high level of expertise in research. Violette, who has a law degree from the University of Montréal, joined our firm in 2008. Prior to that, she worked as a legal researcher with the Honourable J.J. Michel Robert, Chief Justice of Quebec, at the Quebec Court of Appeal.


  • Represented a consumer association in a class action against an international cartel attempting to fix the price of an electronic component.

  • Represented investors who were victims of a Ponzi scheme, in an authorized class action suit against accounting firms and securities custodians based on their extracontractual liability.

  • Represented a consumer association in two class actions concerning disclosure of annual fees by retailers under the Consumer Protection Act.
