On March 24, 2022, a class action was brought against Cargill, Inc., Cargill Meat Solutions Corp., Cargill Ltd, JBS USA Food Company, Swift Beef Company, JBS Packerland Inc., JBS Canada ULC, Tyson Foods, Inc., Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc., and National Beef packing Company, LLC.
Plaintiff alleges that those companies conspired to unduly restrict competition in relation with the production, supply or sale of Beef in Québec.
Any person who purchased Beef in Québec on or after January 1, 2015 could be a member of the proposed class.
